Paternity in multiple births

I know that with animals, it is possible for individuals in a multiple birth to have different fathers.

Is this possible in humans? And if so, is the only way to determine this to test each child against each possible father? Or could one tell by comparing the DNA of the two children (in the case of twins) to each other?

Dear Donna

I do not think it is possible for individuals in a multiple birth to have two fathers, but I cannot really answer this question.

Regards, Maritha
