My 2yr old African Grey loves milk............ I have heard that birds in general are not "lactose tolerant" what does this mean exactly and will she be harmed if she takes in a little daily ?

Lactose intolerance usually means that the animal / person does not have the enzymes necessary to digest lactose. Not being a mammal the parrots probably don't have the enzyme but I will need to look into that. Please repeat your question on Monday. Thanks.
