OV 125 blood test

Dear Fertility Expert

I have recurrent ovarian cysts (trying to fall pregnant) and am scheduled for my 4th op.

After examining me, my new doctor (a FS), recommended that I go for an OV 125 blood test.

What does it indicate?

Thanks in advance

Dear Miyarzi

A Ca125 test is an ovarian cancer marker , but may also detect endometriosis and other benign conditions. It's main use is in the ovarian cancer diagnosis and treatment.
