Our dog Shaddow

We have a mongrel, rescued from a dumping ground in our area. Shaddow seems to have doberman, collie, and is a medium sized dog, he is about 3years old now. The problem is he is getting thinner and thinner despite us deworming him and he eats a healthy diet of kebbles and protein. Despite this he seems healthy, he is very active, runs around etc. My question really is perhaps he still has worms and what are the consequences of him having worms?

If he has been a " dump"  dog I would strongly advise a good vet check up ... he could have picked up a lot of nasties .

And yes he probably still has worms and it could be a blighter to get rid of them.
