Orange coating on tongue

My mom has had orange coating on her tongue, also bad taste in her mouth, since a recent problem with kidney stones. The kidney stone problem has resolved but orange tongue remains. What can you advise? Thanks.

Hallo Lisa
a yellow or orange coating of the tongue could be an indication of bacterial or fungal infection or even diabetes. Let her doctor have a look to see if she needs antiseptic mouthwash, antifungal medication and have her blood sugar tested?
