on diet

i find that i am on diet weighless and get to a stage where i have to have sweets. i then eat a whole packet and feel very boated afterwards. why. please help with some advise

In contrast to the previous Reader, the Weigh-Less diet is not lacking in low-GI carbohydrates, so your craving for sweets may have a different origin. It is possible that you associate sweet foods with 'comfort' - a type of psychological crutch, and now that you are on a diet you occasionally seek this type of comfort by eating sweets. Discuss this problem with your Weigh-Less counsellor who will give you tips on how to avoid this type of behaviour (e.g. having an additional serving of a sweet-tasting fruit which is low in energy or using artificial sweeteners on foods like cereal, porridge, fruit salad, etc) to satisfy your craving for a sweet taste).

Hi Mitch

What zone are you on? You are allowed to have the WL jelly sweets as part of your treats. If you have it within your programme it will not effect your weight loss.
