numbness in foot

I have been having numbness in my right foot on top right above the toes and on the outside of the same foot. I also have been expereincing a cramp in my right calf muscle. The cramp has subsided but my foot is still numb. What could this be? Should I rush to my doctor or wait a while longer?

Dear Brin
This sounds like a nerve injured ( bruised) or pinched, either in the muscles of the calve or in the lower back. Rather let your GP have a look and see if you need x/rays?
