Our expert says:
According to International Tables, girls of 14 who are about 1,57 m tall, should weigh 45 kg and have a BMI of less than 23. If you lassie is taller then she may weigh more, but work out her BMI as follows: multiply her actual height in metres x height in metres (e.g. 1,57 x 1,57 = 2,46), then divide her weight in kg by 2,46 (e.g.48/2,46 = 19,4 which is within the normal range for 14-year-old girls.)
