Muffins

Are muffins fattening? Can i eat them while on a diet? Is there anything as health muffins?

Muffins and what you put on them like butter, cream and jam can be highly fattening. However, if you bake or buy high fibre muffins (I think Woolworths have a high-fibre, low-fat muffin available), and eat them as is, or with small quantities of Lite margarine, then they should not contribute much more energy than 2 slices of wholewheat bread with Lite margarine.
