Question
Posted by: MR NEUROGRAPHY | 2006/11/02

MR neurography in South Africa.

I have a complex foot injury from an ankle fracture and sprain.
I have damaged the nerves in the toe area as well as the anterior talofibular ligament. I have been struggling for over a year to get better. I have had MRI, ultrasound scan and x-rays but nothing seems to show up the extent of the nerve damage.
I have heard of MR neurography. Is it available in South Africa?
I have spoken to my GP and various private hospitals in JHB.
But no-one knows where I can have it done or if it is available in S.A.
Can you please help?
