is it a good or a bad thing to feed dogs and cats milk? won' t water be just as fine? (or perhaps even healthier?)

i give my dogs goats yoghurt on a regular basis as it is a great probiotic and they tolerate the goats milk better than cows milk. sheep youghurt works just as well

Adult dogs and cats don' t need milk, so it' s a waste of money. Some don' t even tolerate/digest it very well, in which case it wouldn' t even be a good idea as a treat.

My dogs love milk, so they occasionally get a tiny splash of it as a treat, and handle it fine. But no, they certainly don' t need it.
