Micro calcifications

Hi, After having a regular mammogran done, microcalcifications were found in both breast, one was chosen for biopsy, the biopsy showed microscopic traces of non invasive carcenoma. Please explain how serious this is and if there alternative therapies to assist. Can microcalcifications be disolved or treated in someway?
