Dear Suzanne
Caffeine does increase metabolism slightly, but you would have to drink many, many cups of coffee a day to achieve any significant increase. Rather use aerobic exercise to stimulate your metabolism - it's the very best stimulant and does not have any of the negative side-effects of caffeine!
