Mentruation Pains

My 16 year old daughter suffers servere menstrual pains every month. This has been like this since her first period. Sometimes she is not able to go to school due to the pain. She has been using pain killers e.g Panado, Nurofen etc. to no avail. Please advice.

She could try Ponstan staring a day before the period is due.
