Menopause (contraceptive injection)

Hi,
I have heard that taking the contraceptive injection can assist with menopause symptoms i.e. hot flushes.
Please can I have your thoughts regarding this - and perhaps any other good and affordable treatment for menopausal symptoms.
Thank you

It is n ot the best form of treatment but works in some women. HRT is better.
