menopausal insomniac

i am 58 yrs old and suffering from insomnia. hav been taking zdorm every night to make me sleep. getting used to the meds its not as effective as before. am very active during the day. hav triied chamomile tea and passiflora tablets does nt seem to help. am also taking meds for cholestrol. please help. thanks
