Recently, I learned about a fungus caused melasma, how could be diagnosed - treated?

My advice would be to consult a dermatologist who could give you more information regarding this possible new link. Typically the treatment for melasma is as follows: Hydroquinone, Tretinoin, Azelaic Acid, and facial glycolic acid peels.
