Our expert says:
Dear Concerned daughter
Antabuse is dangerous to give without the patient's consent, but maybe if your doctor discusses this with him and implants an antabuse pellet under his skin, with a severe warning, this will deter him from abusing alcohol. However, I think it will be very difficult for him to stop now, and the more humane way would probably be to admit him for alcohol detoxification in a hospital as he will be getting bad side effects stopoping cold turkey. When he is "dry" you can discuss the antabuse option with him.
