If she is sexually active, a pregnancy test should be done. One missed period is not uncommon. You should wait and see what happens next month. If these recur, the Pill may regulate her periods.

Best wishes

Is she eating properly - if she has any type of eating disorder (anorexia, bulimia, over excercising, overeating) this can also cause missed periods.

In matric - stress is a big cause of missed periods - at the start of the year with the huge worklaod increase, mid year exams, trials, finals, waiting to see if you've got in to varsity etc.

If your daughter is not sexually active then she probably missed her period because of stress. If she is sexually active you would need to get a Home Test to check.
