Our expert says:
The SA Food Tables do not list dried mango, so I can only give you a general indication. Most dried fruit has a relatively high energy content because these products are so concentrated by the drying process. For example, raw guava contains 211 kJ/100g, while dried guava provides 1180 kJ per 100g. Dried fruits should therefore be eaten in small portions (about 30g) and not every day when you are trying to lose weight.
