Malaria medication with anti-depressants

Which Anti-Malaria meds can I use if I am on Cipramil, Topamax and Lanzor?
I have heard that some clinics can obtain Malarone? Is it safer to use with less side effects?
Thanks

Dear Suzanne

Doxycycline appears not to interact significantly with Cipramil, Topamax or Lanzor, but spacing doses 3 hours apart is recommended. Mefloquine also does not interact significantly but has been associated with psychiatric symptoms. Malarone is not available in pharmacies yet but can be obtained at certain travel clinics including Linksfield travel clinic in Johannesburg.
