Lump on neck

I've had a very small lump (about he size of a walnut) on the left side of my neck for about 6 years now. It is not sore even when pressure is applied. It's not visible unless I tilt my head to the right. Does this lump mean that I'm HIV+ or could it be something else? What do HIV lumps look and feel like? Should I go to a normal GP or specialist to have it checked out?
