low lying placenta

hi i just need to know what causes a low lying placenta in pregnancy and what are the precautions, is it something you should really worry about

There are no particular causes for a low-lying placenta. The site of implantation is variable. You should not have intercourse. It is only a problem if it remains low after 28 weeks.
