Loss of hearing related to sinus?

Hi Doc,

I have had postnasal drip since I quit smoking a year ago, have been taking anti-allergy tabs and that seems to help, but the minute I stop taking them the drip starts again. Recently my hearing has gotten worse too, and I was wondering whether there might be a blockage in my ear canal overflowing from my sinuses?

Kato, I suppose it is possible. The easiest would be to see an ENT specialist so that he can make sure for you and do something about your chronic post nasal drip. Good luck.
