Dear Anna
Leonor drops contain a derivative of epinephrine which is potentially addictive, which is why they are not longer sold over the counter. The side-effects associated with negative side-effects such as dependence, addiction, tremors, insomnia, palpitations, irritability, psychotic reactions. These products have been banned in many countries because of their negative side-effects, which include addiction and dependence. Drinking 2,5 litres of liquid (which can include water, but also includes all other liquids you drink per day) is a good practice. But drinking excessive amounts of water (hot or cold) will not promote weightloss and can cause electrolyte imbalances.

Unlike many other weight loss products, Leanor apparently only contains one active ingredient. This supplement may no longer be available, due to the nature of the active ingredient, d-norpseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Also known as cathine, this compound has been listed as a controlled substance. Although cathine may be an effective appetite-suppressant, it is also linked to potential negative health effects including hemorrhagic stroke.
