KY jelly and falling pregnant

I see that one of the other questions posted queried lubricants and falling pregnant. Would KY be suitabel for use or is it likely to cause problems with falling pregnant?

Dear Joan

It is best to try and avoid the use of lubricants whilst trying to conceive, most lubricants eventhough they do not contain spermicide may effect sperm transport from the endocervical canal. Which may hence counteract conception. However, in instances where lubricants are absolutely necessary it is important to minimise the volumes used and it would be best to use small amounts of glycerine based products example KY jelly.

Rather don't use it as it can affect the sperm's motility negatively.
