My dogtertjie was 2 met die mooiste krul lokke.

Sterkte.

Ag, my hart bloei vir jou! Baie sterkte.

If all methods fail you could shave her head.

Hi Teresa,

If you dont mind English, here goes...
Lice is at epidemic proportions in some of the schools, and drove me to the very edge with my 8 year old daughter. I eventually got hold of the sister clinis in charge of the lice problems at the schools, and she said the following:
Once all lice have been killed and ALL eggs/nits removed, and you are sure your child is lice free, after each Hair wash (with your normal day to day shampoo), spray your childs head lightly with Paraspray (available at all pharmacies) - make sure it doesnt touch the scalp, as this will burn, and leave it on the hair. Repeat this each time you wash your childs hair - it will stop the lice from coming back into her hair.
You can also buy Lennons Bergamott Essence, and pour this into your normal shampoo - it smells divine and also acts as a deterrent to the lice, but remember to use the paraspray after each wash (If you wash your daughters hair twice a week this is sufficient).
Just remeber not to get the paraspray on her scalp or skin as it burns - its the only thing that works.
My hairdresser says rinsing your childs hair after a wash in pure vinegar and not rinsing the vinegar out works, but dont spray the paraspray on top of this - not sure of the reaction.

Hope it helps.
