Jumping rope


Can a jumping rope help you keep fit. I live in a small town where there is no gym. I've been jogging in the morning but now of lately it's dark by 5:30 am. In the evening I'm at work. However I've started to use jumping rope in the mornings for 15-20 minutes. Do you think this might help?
