Intellectual development for a Down Syndrome baby

Hi there,

I have been on the net, but there is no info on caring and nurturing a DOwn Syndrome baby: physicaly, emotionally and intelectually. I understand that their IQ is about half that of a normal child and yet some of them do go to regular school. Hence I am convinced that one can help.

Kindly pass appropriate contact details on to me.

Many thanks,
Cindy

Try looking at www.babytherapy.org.za. There is also a Down syndrome Society. I don't have their contact details, but a social worker may be able to help you with this.

Best wishes
