Impetigo

Once on anti-biotics, how long does impetigo take to clear up? How long are you contagious for?

Gina, it depends on how severe the infection is, but you should be able to see a difference within 3 days. As long as there are sores present there may be live bacteria present, so as soon as there are no more sores, it’s not contagious anymore. Good luck.
