Immune boosters during pregnancy

Hi there,

I am 31 weeks at the moment. Could you please recommend some immune boosting foods that i can eat during pregnancy. Winter is approaching and i've always been easily susceptible to the flu virus and i dont want that to happen right now...Any advise?

The key is balance, You need to eat a combination of Protein, carbohydrate and fat, together with vitamins and minerals (derived from fruit, veggies and cereals).
Generally avoiding high fat, highly processed foods and sticking to fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meat, fish, chicken and of course whole-wheat bread and cereals.
There are no SPECIFIC foods, generally all “healthy diet” options should do the trick.
Good luck with the baby!
