I constanly have mouth ulcers - Dr. diagnosed as Afthous

What are the possible causes of Afthous?
I have consulted with an ENT specialist, is there any other specialist i can consult with or alternative practioners.
I also have sinus/post nasal drip - my GP as prescribed texa tablets, is my sinus/post nasal drip a contributing factor to mouth ulcers.

Thank You

Hallo Cyril
Aphtous ulcers can be caused by chemical irritants like toothpaste ( especially the whitening ones) viruses or sometimes happen without cause. Kenalog in Orobase ointment work wonders, also rinse your mouth with a solution of salt water. The sinus drip should not be a cause. Try beconase aqeous nose spray twice a day for the PND - but it only starts working after about a week's use and you have to use it longterm. You could use an immunebooster too (Viral choice C, Moducare or echinacea)
