in addition to sperm cells, the ejaculate also consists of seminal fluid, proteins and other nutrients. so visual inspection alone is not enough for analysis of semen. i would advise seeing your gp with regards to having a semen analysis done and any deficiencies detected can be attended to thereafter.

Hi there Cutie  the only way 2 check sperm is through a microscope. What U see is the ejaculatory fluid which carries the sperms. The fluid is produced by the man' s prostate as well as his cowpers glands + cosists of many other things besides sperm. The actual sperm that impregnates U looks almost like a tadpole - a head / body with a long tail that propels it up to your fallopian tubes. They r minute + can only b seen through a microscope. Sperm r produced by the testicles + upon ejaculation everything is released together, mixed into the jaculatory fluid + forced into + out of his penis when he orgasms. So if U r worried then let him have a sperm test which your Doc. can arrange. Regards.

I am curious as to how you checked his sperms, as this is not possible to check at home, only in a laboratory?
