Hypothyroidism

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 9 years ago after giving birth. I have suffered daily since then with severe muscle pain and exhaustion. I take eltroxin daily and TSH and T3 and T4 is normal. Why the continued muscle pain?

Dear Rose
Muscle pain is a symptom in hypothyroidism and it may be that your type of tablet that you take, needs to be changed or supplemented - you may need something with more T3 - ask your doctor to find out from an endocrinologist?
