If you were inseminated at the time of ovulation, then the pregnancy test should be positive 3-4 days after your expected period, which should be in about 17 days. The blood pregnancy test will be positive earlier.

Had my insemination yesterday, my doc said I can go for a HPT on day 26.
When was your insemination done?

I would estimate after about 15 days, as assuming the insemination is done around ovulation time, it should be 14 days before your next period, so 14-18 days later you should be able to detect a pregnancy....
