How soon should one start taking the pill

Hi All

I just need to enquire - how soon can I start taking the pill (contraceptive) after having a baby? I am due to have a c-section on the 9 December 2005.

It depend on if you are breastfeeding or not. If you are not you can go back on the pill when you start your natural period after the birth if you are you can start the pill (for breastfeeding mothers) after six weeks.
