Dear Karen
This is actually a difficult question, because it depends on so many different factors - your age, gender, level of activity, percentage of lean muscle mass and fat, etc, etc. However, the RDA for energy prescribed by the US Academy of Sciences is 2 200 kcal or 9 200 kJ/day for females aged 11 to 50, of average height (about 1.6 m) and average weight (between 46kg at 11 years and 63 kg at 50 years), who are moderately active. If you exceed this level, then you would start to gain weight.
Best regards
