how long

hi doc

I posted earlier due to hiv exposure i had. it was 22 april and i took arv's for one month. got tested immediately and was negative. now i know the safest time to get tested again to be 100% sure i dont have virus is after six months.

but that is the longest. can i go now? ive heard it takes much shorter (like 45 days) for hiv to show up in most cases. so if i go now and im still negative is that good sign (sign of hope) or not really?

thank you

Dear How long
If you are really anxious, ask for a HIV viral load test - this is something you can test earlier.
