Our expert says:
While it is a good idea to ensure that you have a LIQUID intake of 2,5 litres per day (some of which may be water), neither large volumes of water, nor the temperature of the water you drink will influence weightloss. To lose weight you need to reduce your energy intake by eating an energy-reduced diet and increase your energy output by doing daily aerobic exercise for 30 min or more. Excessive water intake can cause electrolyte depletion which can lead to water retention and other problems. Be moderate even with your water/liquid intake.
