doctor i read here that what im talking about in the previous post is something called hypnagogia. i want to know about it dangerous? are people who have it also dangerous? does it have anything to do with drinking alcohol? my friend was always afraid of drinking alcohol but i never knew why.last night he had drank a little bit of not so strong alcohol and it happened to him,i mean he was some images that were not real before sleeping and he thought it was a dream.he says what he saw was a part of his yesterday''s events. pls i want to know if it is curable and if he can be dangerous?

No it is certainly not dangerous. All that happens is that, in certain circumstances, dreams happen while one is actually awake - just before falling asleep or just after waking. It is as if one is awake, but, at the same time, a movie is running. Generally alcohol does not affect it, but in some cases it may bring it on. However, if it is happening during the day,and not just before or just after sleep, then it should be looked in to.
