HIV question

I was going through the article on the webpage regarding HIV and I am
as I feel that I have acquired it. I am more worried as I support my parents
and it is horryfying me. I have been to the doctors but they say it is a
of just sore throat. but I feel there is more going on in my body as i have
never had such symptoms and I needed an advice from someone who has been
HIV patients. Can u please help me thought i know it is difficult to do so
from the internet.
I am a 27 year old Indian male and I am NOT sexually active person. I am
single and I had met this girl, who was a pediatric doctor, practising her
residency in Manhattan. This was the FIRST time I slept with someone in my
life and while doing so I also did not use protection. Although I asked her,
she has denied that she has tht infection. I am also asthmatic from birth
have to use albetrol inhalers once or twice daily. basically I am a weak
person as I fall sick on and off very often.
its been 6-7 weeks since I had slept with her and now I had a sore throat,
with a lot of dryness. later I started having a burning sensation at the
of my throat, below adam’s apple. I am also having slight muscle pain –
my forearm muscle and calve muscle and slight pain, on and off, on my knee
joint and on my heel joint. for some reason I have also been feeling week. I
feel such weakness when I take steroids for my asthma. but I am not on any
drugs these days. So I have no idea why am I having this unusual weakness
slight muscle ache. I am also not working out nor do I excersize. so I am
worried why am I having such weakness. I also got my self tested for HIV
week, when I started having such symptoms. this was after 6 weeks from that
day and the test was Negative. the doctor has given me Zithromax to help me
with the sore throat.
Can u please email me and let me know if there could be other reasons for
unusual weakness. and slight on and off joint pains. I am really worried and

i would really appreciate your help.

Very worried, it is difficult to say why you are suffering from this unusual weakness, but I can tell you that it is not a symptom specific to early HIV infection. It is more likely to be due to a different viral infection or something systemic like anaemia, thyroid problem, low blood sugar, etc. The best would be to hang in there for a couple of days and if things don’t improve, to see a specialist physician. Good luck.
