Hip dysplasia (developmental displasia of the hip) can not cause a true sciatic nerve irritation, unless the periform muscle is over used, therefore, causing irritation and inflammation around the sciatic nerve, thus causing pseudo-sciatica.
Hip dyspasia can not cause true sciatica.
