High Blood Pressure and Pregnancy

Good day Doc,

My husband is using Coversyl, Ridaq and Adalat for treating his high blood pressure.

Can this affect his sperm count or me falling pregnant as i really need a baby.

Dear Dell

The fact that your husband is on multiagent anti-hypertensive therapy would suggest that his blood pressure problem is fairly significant. This intern may reflect underlying vascular problems which may lead to erectile problems as well as problems related to spermatogenesis. I recommend that he does a spermiogram as soon as possible.
