High Blood Pressure


Just wanted to find out, what can I do naturally to lower blood pressure if its a bit high. Like certain foods? Exercises? Or any herbal stuff? And for a lady age 23 what is considered dangerous?

You can eat a diet with at least 5 fruits & vegetables per day, whole grains and low-fat dairy. Losing weight, cutting down in salt, boosting potassium intake with eating potassium rich foods ( do not take supplements - you can overdose) like Bananas, beans, tofu and potatoes and limiting alcohol also helps. The following herbal supplements may increase blood pressure: ephedra, ginseng, licorice and feverfew. Garlic and flax seed have shown some effects in lowering high blood pressure. You can take a combination of calcium and magnesium as a supplement. Just keep in mind that some people have hereditary high blood pressure and that they may need pills even though they eat healthy, is the right weight and exercise regularly!
