High blood pressure

My mom and her partner suffer from high blood pressure.

i was at their house the other day and they told me that they had bought omega 3 vitamins supplement for themselves to boost their memory and such like ideas.
But someone told them that you cannot take the Omega 3 as it will effect their blood pressure.
ps they are on blood pressure medicine.
is this true? would it affect them or is it ok for them to take.
Thanks kar
