Hiatus Hernia

Can the use of a trampoline aggravate or enlarge an already large hiatus hernia?

A haitus hernia is a physical abnormality and can be easily corrected with a laparoscopic procedure. Jumping on a trampoline can implify the symptoms of the hiatus hernia, as the content of the stomach will be challenged to remain inside the stomach. I do not think that physical jumping will worsen the hiatus hernia but rather the symptoms.

You can use Gaviscon before meals to alleviate your symptoms but you should consult a gastroenterologist for treatment.
