Help please

I have heard rumors about a worm that is growing in everone's body. Apparently you have to clean your body using vermox or sumthing every six months to get rid of the worm. How true is this? Is the product good? Do you have to take pills and what happens if you dont use anything? What harm cant this worm cause?

Please help

Dear Superboy
If you work with animals or have young dogs in the house and get into contact with animal poo, you run the risk of being infected by the eggs of the thread and hookworm, which can then hatch in your bowel and cause cramping, itching and weight loss. For this reason we usually give kids ( who is in the soil all the time) an anti-helmintic treatment like Worm-go, Vermox or Zentel once or twice a year. If you work in an office and don't have pets it is unlikely that you will be infected with worms.
