Heart Palpitations after eating

I often get heart palpitations after eating lunch. What is this caused from and what can I do to prevent it from happening again?

Dear Cath
The palpitations could be due to a buildup of wind which then presses against the heart. It is however, always a good idea to consult a medical dr for a checkup just to rule out any underlying physical problems. I can only suggest that you try eating smaller meals more regularly and to avoid foods that give you wind.
