My grandfather has been diagnosed with "hartversaking" and I would like to know what that exactly is.

BioFreak, hartversaking or heart failure is when the heart isn’t able to fulfil its pump function anymore. This leads to pooling of blood (lungs and/or extremities) and enlargement of the heart. Let me know if you have more questions (as a new question please or I won’t get it). Good luck.

Dear CyberDoc My partner was diagnosed with heartfailure. He is only allowed to have 1.5l fluids per day! Im sure just medication keeps him alive. Will the 1.5l increase to maybe more fluids per day. What is the lifespan of a person who is a heartfailure patient. Im just so worried. He is 55years old.
