HAKE

I eat 2 portions of hake a day. The are low fat products from Woolworths. About 80 grams I guess. What value does this add to my diet and are they high in energy?

Dear Fishman
Fish is an excellent source of high quality protein, iodine, B vitamins and minerals. Grilled hake contains about 203 kcal per 100g, so it is relatively low in energy. Research has indicated that people who eat fish 3 or more times a week, have a lower incidence of heart disease.
